It was meant to be taken as a joke.
"The only problem we could have is if they forbid the writing/reading of books and we'd all have to become underground criminals sneaking into places to find a library that wasn't torn down and hoping we don't get caught by the police and be forced to watch horrible movie adaptations of the books we love."
But the O.A.R. (Organization Against Reading) saw it as an opportunity.
How can one boy live in a world without reading? Can there be a way to change this horrible future? Will they be successful in ending the reign of technology?
Or has books and paper met its time?
Every reader's nightmare: Reading is Forbidden.
