Ercassiel a young foreign princess and is the youngest of her siblings being the only girl in a household of two brothers her mother thought it best to go to their ally, King Oropher to ask him to raise her because Ercassiels mother did not want her to grow up and be killed in a war for the throne. Ercassiel watched as her mother was murdered right before her eyes. Oropher could do nothing to save her, but Ercassiel being so young couldn't stand it she wanted to help, but only took a sword to the back and discovered another reason why her mother didnt want her to get involved in a war between blood.
