Ricky Bowen never really bought into the whole soulmate thing (except he did) but life got in the way and now he's sort of pretending to date new (totally not intimidating) girl Gina Porter to win back the one and only Nini Salazar Roberts. Not a single thing could go wrong. or The one where Ricky and Gina aren't so good at the whole soulmate thing and they fake date.

Gina and Ricky continue to learn the ways of co- parenting. Meanwhile the gang decides to take a summer vacation to Santa Monica, where anything can happen. Gina's relationship with E.J goes haywire when Ricky and Gina spend another summer together. Things are definitely about to get heated. Sequel to Because of That Summer

After a summer of unexpected fun, Gina and Ricky have to face the consequences of their actions. Things get even more complicated when Nini comes back from her school to finish her junior year. Ms. Jenn planned something special for the school musical casting Gina and Ricky in interesting roles on top of everything else. Set in their Junior year/ they are all in the same grade

Ricky and Gina spend the majority of the summer apart, choosing to take second chances on other people. The tangled web of miscommunication somehow worsens, and the two wind up hating each other all while starring in East High's latest production of 'Into The Woods'. Ricky thinks his senior year is off to a great start.
