Helen is a seventeen years old Irish village barmaid, a job she hates, but there is no other jobs available. She is forced to run away from her home because, Mac, the village benefactor is accidentally killed. Helen is accused of some sort of witch- craft. The leaves behind the love of her life, the only man in her life.
