Matrix is a die hard Bon Jovi fan, always has been ever since she was a tiny tot. One concert, a meet and greet and a few e-mail exchanges later Matrix has four new best friends who she loves dearly and they love her back. Despite their obvious connection and attraction to each other David and Trix have no idea how to deal with their love. Not only because David is a rock star and Trix is just an ordinary person with nothing extraordinary in her life at all, but because of David's wife Lexi. It was all her fault. The broken hearts, the loss of words, the tears...and even the death. David wants her and she wants him too but it can never be truly acceptable. Another obstacle is Trix's all too friendly boss Blake... Does this spelt out a love triangle? The biggest star crossed love to ever hit since Rome and Juliet. How will this effect everyone? Who will rise? And who will fall? And who will be laid to rest on a bed of roses?

Suffering from a ferocious case of writer's block, Jon agrees to accompany Obie on a Nashville road trip to pick up a new hot rod. Why not? It's not like he's getting anything accomplished at home, and there was always an off chance that being in Music City could get his creative juices flowing. Little did he know exactly what would get his juices flowing, or that she would be hotter than the car.

I wrote this story many many years ago, it was my first attempt at fanfiction so it's still close to my heart. English is not my mother tongue so please excuse any grammar/spelling mistakes. Jon - and his wife, too - had always prayed for a good woman to sweep Richie off his feet and make him walk the line, and she had finally arrived, only Jon would have never in a million years imagined what he would feel about her.

Rules were meant to be broken (obviously) so why shouldn't the rules of love be broken?! Jon and Richie know that they'll play a dangerous and explosive game as they admit and submit to love each other. Will it end in flames and fury, or will something almost magical come out of this?
