Among all the obstacles, the influx of the Frosted appearing overnight with unimaginable powers meant the very concept of peace was not quite so straightforward. This novel-in-stories follows the early years of this new nation through many different points-of-view. Ghosts stuck in the in-between. Widows trying to move on. Frosted who try to discover what their futures hold. Young women married too early. Before the concept of heroes, there was a need for them. This is the story of how that need manifested.
