Y/N is a normal boy cursed with the terrifying aura of an Oni, one that makes him seem frightening to others. To make things worse, he's recently been bonded to one of the eight heads of Yamata no Orochi, a massive dragon-serpent spirit that's supposed to be unstoppable and decimate countries...except this one is a total coward, scared of everything from ghosts and aliens to loud noises and girls. When Y/N goes seeking help from Seiko to quell his aura, he crosses paths with Momo, Okarun, and the rest of the crew. After being unwillingly dragged into the world of the occult and supernatural, he's forced into battles he never wanted. Y/N has to learn how to control his troublesome and violent Oni aura while dealing with his panicky snake partner. Together, the two scaredy-cats must face horrors beyond imagination, discovering along the way that even fear can be a source of strength for people, or rather demons, like them.

As a spirit medium, Seiko's duty is to eliminate the evilness of the yokai spirits swarming around the Kamigoe City. Not only that, she also helps her grand-daughter, Momo, her friend, Okorun too, and recently a new member onto the friend group, Aira...or, if she even gets along with Momo of course. However, with Okorun, she gets along with "very" much, making Momo very jealous about it. With that said, she then looks after her grand-daughter, and her friends as she invites them to their home any time, any day, free meals, and doesn't mind staying over as well. Despite Seiko having such uncouth manner of speech, deep down her heart, she's selfless and empathetic towards others in need it's within her power. On top of that, after helping others in need and accepting them, she awards them by letting them stay over, feed them, and helping them in any occasion. And now, she soon awaits a visitor to help in need, but before the help arrives...she then encounters someone who is possessed, but not a yokai...but, an unimaginable, and a way urban legend than Turbo Granny. What happens next? Find out!
