Years after her break up with Toni, Cheryl's living in New York with her best friend. She didn't see herself living the life she was, it wasn't what she imagined for herself growing up, but she was doing much better than she had in such a long time. Old faces show up and her new life beginnings to spiral. Unsure of what to do she tries to ignore everything happening around her. No matter how much she tried to work through her past, her ex girlfriend would always be a sore spot. She didn't believe that would ever change.

Cheryl's trying to figure things out and make herself like a rich boy she meets but for some reason she can't stop thinking about a certain pink haired girl. After Toni's interaction with Cheryl at the Whyte Wyrm she couldn't help but think that something was off. Was she right? Based on canon, I tried to match up timelines but as we all know Riverdale has a habit of messing it up so I'll work with that the best I can.

Toni has her eye on the prettiest girl in school, not that she'd ever admit it. After acknowledging her feelings but not actually accepting them the seventeen year old serpent is determined to stay away from the redheaded cheerleader.
