This story depicts an alternate timeline wherein Velzard attends Walpurgis after sensing Veldora's presence. She subsequently meets our protagonist and becomes interested in him after his display at the meeting. After thinking for a bit, she decides to move to Tempest and becomes a close ally of Rimuru. Rimuru and Velzard will sometimes be out of character since it's unavoidable. Our protagonist will be more rational and have an actual spine, while Velzard will not be as cold and ruthless as her canon counterpart. Besides, Velzard is missing a lot of characterization, so I decided to write my own interpretation of her personality based on the original light novel. I recommend at least having seen the second season of the anime since my story will pick up from there. This fanfic will follow the main story beats from the original light novel, meaning some arcs will get glossed over if there are little changes. I'm somewhat OC, so expect a lot of chapter edits or updates because I tend to reread chapters and notice minor mistakes here and there. Natsuki Subaru's life hasn't been easy, with low self-confidence he is send to another world. Unlike how he was supposed to be giddy about it, he was terrified. Reason? In this fic, Natsuki Subaru is a merger of two souls, one from where worlds like Re Zero, Marvel, TTIGRAS, DC, Danmachi, DXD, etc are mere fictions, while other is Original Natsuki. Just a few short days after Subaru's 16th birthday, he suddenly finds himself in the Kararagi City-States with the base abilities of Rimuru Tempest, Hajime Nagumo, and 'The System' from Sung Jinwoo. Shortly after his arrival, he is saved by Halibel and finds work with Anastasia Hoshin, a candidate for the throne of Lugunica. (AU: Subaru doesn't suffer from his self-loathing and has worked past it ages ago, deciding to focus on becoming "The best I can be". This Subaru will focus on revolutionizing the world with his inventions and gaining more power through The System to bring his parents to this world rather than trying to go back. This also means Subaru will, eventually, become op. However, his growth rate is similar to Sung Jinwoo's in which he will become incredibly powerful in the span of a few months.

After asking for help from the three Royal Candidates and having been humiliated Natsuki Subaru encountered the White Whale shattering his confidence. In the end he asks Rem to run away with him, but being denied he had enough of it and telling her to leave alone he runs away. However, a twist of fate occurs as he encounters two Heretic Gods from a different World, Yamraj and Janus. Now having a chance to change things, how will he fare?
