If you had the opportunity to change fate, would you? Even if there was a small chance, that it could all go wrong? What if you didn't have a choice, does that make it better? Link seeks the answers to these questions, even if he does not know that he will ask them one day. Time has been altered, a branch has been created. Will this lead to a better future, or a worse one? Only time will tell. My question to you, dear reader: Do you believe they will succeed, or will they experience a fall from grace?

Urbosa was many things, but even she could not halt the sands of fate. When a dying Hylian mother entrusts her infant son to her, begging on her last breath to raise him as her own, her Gerudo pride could not possibly deny her final request. Link, despite being a male, would be raised Gerudo. And Urbosa would make sure her son would be the strongest warrior of them all. (We hit Linked Universe eventually, but the first bit is definitely just BotW.)

Deep within the mists of the Lost Woods was a temple forgotten. Hidden within was a sleeping treasure-a golden sword forged by one of the Heroes of Old many thousands of years ago. The power lay dormant, sleeping until it was needed once more. Until an amnesiac named Link pulled it free. What once was one now is four. May the Hero of the Wild wield the Four Sword well.

When a desperate prayer from a frightened king reveals a magic that should never have existed, Link ends up suffering the consequences. Trapped as a divine sword for three hundred years, he never expected to have another chance at life. Now somehow sent back two hundred years, to a fallen kingdom that should've been thriving, Link must defeat Calamity Ganon with his own two hands. And maybe... just maybe, he might get his chance for revenge. M for violence

Urbosa barely survived her fight with Thunderblight. It was only thanks to the Goddess Din herself, who pulled her from Naboris in the moment she was sure was to be her death, that she lived to see the light of another day. Though times were dark, she managed to lead her people-bloodied and broken-through the immediate dangers of The Great Calamity. As the sole surviving Champion, it was all she could do.

Following Link and Zeldas relationship before the calamity. It all started when they first met at twelve years old. They started out rough but eventually their friendship grew into much more. And will Link be able to face his greatest fear of all? The Lonely Hero is the sequel to The Lonely Knight, a novelization of BOTW. This book follows the same characters as that book, in this rewritten version of TOTK.
