Hate, knowledge, loyalty, and love - everything has a price, but the highest is power. What would you pay? » ✦ « Jordan wished there was more to life, more to her world, something to make her feel alive, to feel anything at all. Then one dull day she meets a strange trio. Repeatedly. Her world widens and she learns that everything she ever wanted to be true - is. But fairytales aren't what we think, and legends rarely end well for the legendary. In a story where there are no heroes, good blends with evil, and the lines between light and dark fade to gray - what do you choose? » ✦ « Highest Rankings: #2 in Demonology #2 in Angel Romance #16 in Action #Mature, 18+ for all the reasons. For me, writing poetry has always been a process of self-renaming. Not something I do every day, yet when the words finally come, it feels like that long-lost friend coming to visit. Here is my return to self-expression, an action I began as a child full of wonder and adventure. But life has taken me down some difficult paths. Diagnosed with major depression and psychosis, most of the time I felt completely detached from my old self. Recently, reading over some of the things I wrote as a child, I felt again a flicker of the person I had been-a girl whose world was open to her eyes and heart, ready to be rediscovered. This book, in so many ways, is a reflection of that lost girl and a testament to my journey of self-recovery and healing continued to this day. Through these poems, I want to reach out to her-to whoever else may feel lost-to tell her that we are still here, waiting to be found.

While investigating the chilling deaths of three teenage girls in the remote town of Briarwood, Detective Evan O'Riley is drawn into the unsolved mysteries of a notorious 1960s serial killer. Three sixteen-year-old girls have plunged from the roof of their school. The question lingers: did they jump, or were they pushed? Tasked with uncovering the truth, Evan O'Riley---seasoned by years of crime-solving in Riverton---arrives in Briarwood, determined to discover whether he's facing triple homicide or a heartbreaking suicide. As he delves into the case, Evan uncovers unsettling whispers about the town's infamous SAD Killer, whose string of brutal murders left Briarwood haunted---and whose identity was never discovered. Fifty years later, the ghosts of the past resurface as Evan combs through long-buried evidence, tracks down survivors, and seeks out old investigators tied to the original crimes. Driven to find answers for both the present and the past, Evan is relentless in his pursuit of justice. But as old secrets come to light and the investigation intensifies, Evan realizes the SAD Killer's legacy isn't as distant as he believed---the danger may be closer than anyone imagines.

A collection of lyrical locutions and sad elegies composed by me. Like the our-song of a sweet couple, our elegies is the exact opposite of that -- for a dying love. My new album, Our Elegies, is a poetic literary piece of heartbreak on a paper. The theme of the whole album is a dark aesthetic, that actually resonates with my current situation. Our Elegies literally means songs for the dead, be it a person or a relation. Painting is with colours of pain, uncalled mistakes, regret, hurt and sadness. The album mostly reminisces on my past relationships, dictated by my current relationship and overall, reverberates through lost and found friendships. I don't intend upon actually singing these songs as per now, but perhaps in the future I might release them. They're purely composed by me and on my personal experiences, which obviously reverberates through the ones I experienced in university. (Very typical of me I know). Because is a song actually real if not based on reality? Our Elegies can also be sung as a standalone album, or related to my upcoming novel I might publish in the future. Till then, thank you for being my heartbreaking muse. ;) All rights reserved. ® Rankings: #487 in poems Achievements: 🥇1st Place in Libra Awards 🥉3rd place in the Banana Awards 2nd Place in the Lyra Awards
