JJ and Emily are just ordinary best friends and co-workers. Of course, that's until one drunken night. *JJ and Will don't have kids in this story.

The BAU is where Emily Prentiss and JJ met. When Emily joined the team she struggled to make bonds with any of the team and chose to latch onto JJ as she had shown her kindness. JJ simply welcomes Emily to the team. Both are unaware of the other's views on their bond. Their different lives offer different perspectives on what they view their relationship as and what they mean to each other. Their thoughts and feelings overlap at times and they often seem like they're chasing their tails rather than seeing eye to eye on what they are together. Each chapter switches points of view between the two, showing a new light on the same storyline each time. Jemily fanfic. ⚠️TW⚠️ Abúse, SH, rāpe, if there's any more I'll add them. There may be smut, but I'm not sure yet, I haven't gotten that far. Emily and JJ meet the night before Emily starts working with the BAU, and JJ gets attached to her very quicky, both have big secrets that they avoid telling anyone. Set in seasons 3-10 maybe? I dunno, I'll figure that out later. Main characters (from CM) are Hotch, Morgan, JJ, Penelope, Emily, Spencer, Rossi, Henry (Lamontagne) and Declan (Doyle). There is a bit of Will there as well but he isn't gonna be there for long.

*Trigger warning: abuse mentioned throughout the story* Emily and JJ always had a thing while working in the BAU. Even though Emily has a boyfriend who she's been with for a year, she's secretly in love with JJ and she may feel the same way. There's only one thing that JJ doesn't know, inside, Emily feels broken because her boyfriend, Josh, abuses her. One day, JJ notices the scars, cuts, and bruises on Emily and starts to get worried. Josh soon disappears and kidnaps Emily and also JJ for getting in between them.

JJ has a terrible, shameful secret that she's been hiding for a few months, the more time passes, the harder it becomes to conceal. Emily is the first person to find out that something is happening, but will she be able to get through to JJ before she goes into a downward spiral, or will she be able to help save her?

If you need me- I'm back. I also tried to write this as if we were witnessing JJ and Emily's relationship grow on the show, I wanted it to be realistic so sorry in advance if It's long, I'll update as much as possible.
