Ava is eighteen and has never been kissed. She goes off to college hoping that some guy will sweep her off her feet. Unfortunately, she finds that love isn't that simple to find. Will Ava find her special someone? Or will she figure out that college boys aren't all she thought they were cracked up to be? Follow Ava through the ups and downs of figuring out who she is and who she loves while sifting through all the lies she tells herself and the ones guys tell her. ____________________________________________________________ I'm eighteen and I can count on one hand how many guys I've kissed. Zero. Well, that was easy. It's the summer before I go off to college and it's almost embarrassing how inexperienced I am. I barely know how to talk to a guy aside from my best friend Cody. I've known Cody since my sophomore year when we ended up in the same French class. He's a year younger than me, but we honestly have a lot in common. We're both super active, goofy, and adventurous. We play the same sports and have the same sense of humor. The one thing we don't have in common, is that I have a massive crush on Cody. There's no chance of anything happening though because Cody always has a steady stream of girls at his disposal. We're just not in the same social circles. Although I would probably have been considered one of the invisible members of my class in high school, Cody is pretty popular in his grade. Sometimes I wonder why he's even friends with me, but then I remember how much fun we have hanging out and I know I wouldn't change a thing. You might wonder why I'm writing about all of this...well, this is the story of how I met the love of my life. I know that sounds super cheesy, but it's true. Everything in this story leads up to the point when I find him. So, sit back and enjoy the ride.

Love can appear in the most unexpected of ways. Like a pizza, for example. In order for Rayleigh Brooks to pay for her freshman year of college, she and her best friend move into an apartment with three new roommates, all of whom are sophomore guys she doesn't really know. Amidst the unanticipated chaos of moving in, meeting her roommates, school starting, and ultimately changing the rest of her life forever, Ray can't help but feel pizza is the one constant she still has. But when she calls a local pizza place she endures an embarrassing conversation with the deep, amused voice on the other end of the phone. And the embarrassment only increases when Ray discovers the source of the sexy voice is one of her new roommates. This is a story about first love (realistic fiction), and entails drunken parties, hilarious roommates, and new experiences. Excerpt: I feel his eyes run over my party-ready state and something in my chest tightens. I study his face carefully, unable to look away even if I wanted to. I can almost feel his heated gaze on my skin as he runs his eyes up and down my body, his icy irises glinting with an unfamiliar expression that sets off something deep and molten in my core. There is a smoldering flame behind his cool blue eyes that is alight with a burning passion, and it makes my skin and blood and bones feel like the kindling to a fire waiting to be ignited. If he so much as moves or breathes or steps any closer, I am sure it will be the end of me. (Not completed, includes some cursing and is mildly graphic, so please don't read it if this bothers you)
