Oh, what an evening
One that began in silence,
Then expanded until it embraced two hearts
That did not meet by chance,
But were nourished by a fate beautifully crafted...
He didn't come as a knight on his steed,
And she was not a princess awaiting salvation.
They were simply... two souls,
Lost in the crowd of life,
Searching for a shadow of warmth,
For an embrace that doesn't ask, "Why did you come so weary?"
This is not a tale of love where "I love you" is spoken a thousand times...
But a story where "I'm here" is said,
And then all the languages follow through deep, wordless silence.
It is a story of warmth,
Of a man who asked for nothing more
Than to hold her hand in his palms and whisper:
"I'm sorry for every night you dreamed alone,
For every time you cried and no one held you."
A story of a woman who did not bloom
Until she realized that love is not a promise drifting in the air,
But a small act repeated each day
A glance, a touch, warm tea,
And a chest that feels like safety.
