I wrote this mostly has a challenge to myself. I just saw the picture that I'm now using as the cover for the story. I thought it was cool and I thought it would make a good story. After successfully retrieving Sasuke from abandoning the village. The village blames him for being too rough with their precious Uchiha. So the elders and the civilian council conspire to have Naruto punished. Tsunade decides that the village doesn't deserve Naruto, so rather than punishing him for doing his job, she decides to send him away somewhere where he'll be safe. With a heavy heart, he prepares to leave behind everything he's ever known in search of a place where he might be seen for who he truly is. At the docks, as he boards a ship bound for unknown lands, he's surprised to find Hinata Hyuga waiting for him, her determination shining through her usual shyness. Prepare for an adventure of high-flying dragon action and the high-speed excitement of ninjutsu.
