Darrel Curtis has unfortunately grown up too fast after his parents died in an auto wreck. He now parents his two younger brothers and the rest of the gang. He goes to many trials and tribulations to get where he needs to be. Everybody thinks he needs a girl for his own to help him loosen up. What happens to him and the gang when they find something highly unexpected?

Maxine Elizabeth Curtis is the second oldest Curtis sibling. She's tough, cold, and mean to everyone. Except for her younger brothers, Johnny, Two-Bit, Steve, and her boyfriend Dallas. Her and Darry hate each other, and it's tearing the family and the gang apart. What happens when Johnny kills Bob and how does it affect Max? This is a fanfiction about The Outsiders.
