Keith's mother, a sweet and lovely woman suddenly leaves home. He has been looking after himself ever since but is still shaken up from her leave. Keith goes into his first year of college, he missed the opportunity to start at the beginning of the year, meaning he'll have to start in semester two, half way through the year. He has been struggling from nightmares since the 'incident' and has trouble sleeping some nights. He hopes to get somewhere in life within the music industry as he loves to rap/sing and listens to music in his free time a lot. As he's learning new and exciting things at his new college he becomes friends with some interesting people, one of those people on the other hand he can't stop thinking about, gradually getting attached to them, distracting him from his studies, bringing a sense of adventure to his usual chill life. Someone or some, 'thing' is trying to get to him however. -------------------------------------------------------- Every chapter so far (except the Prologue) is 4,000+ words, just so you're aware! This story is based in a school/college AU.
