The response was instant-a mix of laughter, gasps, and the delighted chatter of an audience that had just been gifted a golden moment. Yunjin barely gave it a second thought. She didn't see the way the words left her mouth and took on a life of their own. Didn't feel the weight they carried as they traveled, fast and unforgiving, into the endless void of social media. Didn't know that miles away, in the quiet of a dimly lit room, Kim Chaewon was staring at her phone, watching the comment snowball into something so much worse than a simple joke.

There was something about Chaewon that always managed to infuriate her. Maybe it was the way she constantly challenged her for the top academic spot in their year, turning every lesson and assignment into an unspoken competition. Or perhaps it was her polished demeanor, that effortless poise that only someone born into privilege could pull off. Yunjin wasn't sure, but something about Chaewon grated on her nerves like nails on a chalkboard. It didn't help that Chaewon barely acknowledged her existence in their shared classes. It was as if Yunjin was invisible, unworthy of even the smallest flicker of attention. That indifference stung more than Yunjin cared to admit.

Chaewon and Yunjin have been friends for as long as they can remember. They redebuted in Le Serrafim together: ever since, they grew closer and closer. Until one day, they realise that their friendship has grown into something more. Together, they try to navigate these new feelings as they have to keep up with their idol life. It was to no avail: the redhead only gripped her tighter. "Dance with me." She spoke as she stared at Chaewon, studying every detail of her face. Suddenly, all the anger seemed to dissipate when Chaewon looked back into Yunjin's dark eyes. She was severely wasted, hot, and her mind was all over the place; but Yunjin was her constant. She hated how Yunjin filled her chest with a warmth she couldn't explain. And she hated that she couldn't just keep being angry. But she loved Huh Yunjin. Which was something she'd never admit while sober.

Chaewon has Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID), and she is one of five distinct personalities sharing the same body.
