This is my swing at Varian and the Seven Kingdoms. I have a ton of ideas that I'll try to do justice, and I'm really excited about where this story will go !! Varian is discontented. Sure, he has everything, but he lacks a purpose. The world seems to be moving on without him. So, when he comes into possession of his deceased mother Ulla's journal detailing Seven Trials that could unlock infinite knowledge, he sets off on a quest that will forever change his life.

After completing the Trials of the 7 Kingdoms, Varian with his found family of Yong, Nuru, and new lover, Hugo, go to the Kingdom of Corona for the first time, though Varian may regret that. With consequences for his past actions lurking all around, most people of Corona still hating him, and things happening that should never have happened being make into this book. Only time will tell if Varian will need a new home or not.

This is my take on the idea of a Varian spin-off series of Tangled: The Series/Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure. The AU was presented to Disney by storyboarders Kay Ritter and Anna Lencioni who took a liking to Varian's character and decided to create a story for him in his later years; detailing the adventures he might go on and the friends he makes along the way. I'll likely take a lot of inspiration from other fans too and I think that's what's great about vat7k, we all inspire each other with our ideas! :) This is probably gonna be a long one, hope you enjoy!!
