Don't-don't-don't-don't-look at what's in front of you.
(Boots-boots-boots-boots-movin' up an' down again);
Men-men-men-men-men go mad with watchin' em,
An' there's no discharge in the war!
"After years I became used to it, I started to remember the poem by heart, it never failed me to make me shiver, but the feeling of going crazy was no longer there. Maybe because it became something familiar. Or maybe because, after all the time inside of the system, I have gone totally mad."
This was the reality of HYDRA.
Raven is twenty-four, or at least she assumes so. She is a mutant, and this makes her a valuable resorce for HYDRA. This is why they kidnapped her when she was only sixteen, since then the only thing she became familiar with was pain. But what will happen if one day she takes the chance and runs away? What if is one of their very soldier to help her? He is a killing machine, he shouldn't even be able to think for himself, but if there is still hope for him?
AUTHOR NOTE: The story won't follow the order of the Avengers' movies, but more or less it is setted after "Captain America: The Winter Soldier".
