Everyone knows Lee Seokmin. The smile. The laughter. The idol loved by millions. Kang Aerum knows a different version of him. One she has hated for eight years. When an award-winning documentary producer is assigned to film Seventeen's biggest project yet, walking away isn't an option. Neither is avoiding the one member she swore she'd never stand in the same room with again. He greets everyone with the same warm smile. She never smiles back. As cameras begin to capture the lives hidden behind sold-out concerts and perfect smiles, the line between truth and perception begins to blur. Some stories are far more dangerous than the rumors that started them, and not every villain is guilty. After all... How do you forgive someone who doesn't even know they hurt you?

BOOK #2 "He says I scare him sometimes. But how do I explain that the only thing that ever scared me... was the thought of losing him? I watch him even when he doesn't know. I memorize the way he smiles, the way his voice lilts when he's being sarcastic, and the way he curls into silence when he's hurting. He calls it obsession. I call it love - twisted, but mine." --- "They say protectiveness is sweet. But Seokmin? He guards me like I'm something sacred and dangerous at the same time. I don't know whether to run from him or into his arms. But I do know one thing - in this world, he's my chaos, my safety, my storm. And I think I love him for that... even when I shouldn't." Most people know Lee Seokmin as the rude one. The monster. A glare that could pierce through your soul. But there's a side of him he's kept hidden - the part shaped by pain, loss, and a vow to never let the people he loves slip away. Especially not Joshua. Hong Jisoo - or Joshua, as he prefers - is calm, classy, and sassy when provoked. He's dealt with enough of life's mess to build a fortress of poise around himself. But then came Seokmin: loud, protective, maddeningly devoted. And terrifyingly in love. As shadows from the past resurface and people begin to connect the dots of fate, Joshua and Seokmin find themselves tangled in a love that burns too hot to hold - but too precious to lose. Because in the end, love isn't always gentle. Sometimes, it watches from the dark. Sometimes, it follows. Sometimes, it's the shadow you never asked for... but always needed. TW ⚠️: Contains lots of violence, swearing and harmful topics. Book #2 of the Fate series

Some encounters don't announce themselves. They trip you on the way in, steal your balance, and then laugh while you're still on the floor. Seokmin fell in love at first sight. Not metaphorically. Not poetically. His brain shut down, his heart panicked, and his soul went, Oh no. One look was all it took-for bad decisions, unnecessary hope, and a lifetime supply of optimism he absolutely did not ask for. Joshua Hong never looked back. He lived by order-calendars color-coded, emotions neatly filed under irrelevant, and people categorized as either useful or background. When he passed Seokmin, he acknowledged the existence of a human being and continued forward. Efficient. Clean. Unbothered. Seokmin, unfortunately, took this as a challenge. He followed cheerfully. Casually. With the confidence of someone who believed love could be negotiated through persistence, jokes, and excellent timing. He chased while pretending he wasn't chasing, smiled while being ignored. There were confessions. So many dramatic moments. And one man sprinting emotionally while another walking away at a respectable, unhurried pace- completely unaware that he'd already been signed up for a problem like Seokmin.

The Altar's Runaway He was promised to a god. He ran into a devil instead. Hong Joshua was born to kneel--raised in the glittering chokehold of power, promised since childhood to Choi Seungcheol, heir to the empire that owns half the nation and all of its shadows. Theirs was a union written in contracts and sealed in blood, a marriage meant to merge kingdoms and bury him alive in silk. But the night before the vows, Joshua runs. Barefoot, breathless, a saint turned sinner beneath the moonlight. He trades his surname for a sin, his destiny for a dirt road, and crashes straight into the man who shouldn't exist--Lee Seokmin. A biker with a past that smells like gasoline and gunfire. A man who helps people disappear for a price and keeps his heart locked behind the roar of an engine. Joshua offers him money. Seokmin offers him a way out. But somewhere between forged passports and stolen motel rooms, the lines blur--between safety and obsession, between hunger and ruin. Because Seokmin doesn't want to save him. He wants to keep him. And maybe Joshua doesn't want to be saved at all.
