The smoke cleared and I saw a blood trail on what was left of the concrete floor. I followed it not wanting to know what I would see when I reached the end. It led to a pile of burnt rubble. "No" I whispered Bruce came over to me and we began to push away the rubble. Bruce lifted another piece away and I fell to my knees, a sob caught in my throat. Jason layed there, broken, under the rubble. He was covered with bruises and blood. "Jay! Jay please just please be alright." Nothing. "You have to be alright." I whispered. I already knew that we were too late. Jason was dead and Joker is the one that killed him. He was gone and now I'm all alone.
