Mikael's free hand lifts slightly like he's about to touch my face, then pauses halfway there. His eyes search mine for half a second, slower now, uncertain for the first time all evening and somehow that hesitation affects me more than if he'd just done it. Because drunk or not, Mikael is asking. Maybe that's exactly the problem, because he pauses. He gives me the choice, and for once, I don't think. A shaky breath leaves me before I can stop it, and for one brief second my brain flashes with the terrifying thought that this might be the last time I ever get to do something like this. Last party. Last kiss. Last reckless mistake. Last chance to feel normal before everything gets worse. The thought should probably ruin the moment, instead it only makes me kiss him harder. Like I can outrun it for another minute if I stay here long enough. _______ If I had just texted him back then, asked him, pushed a little, or at least stayed, maybe it wouldn't have ended the way it did. But I didn't and sometimes I still think about how little it would've taken. Anything but nothing, because in the end, that's what I chose. Nothing. _______________ This is a continuation from 'before I walked away ' but this is mostly about Milo and Mikaels dynamic. New things are opened, wounds that dont heal, people that cant change and walk through hell to survive.

I'm not a boy, but I'm not a man either. What I am is eighteen, standing in a truck stop parking lot, abandoned by a father who designed me to be quiet, useful, and too afraid to ask for help. Then a smart-mouthed contractor with a habit of bringing home strays looked at me and couldn't walk away. Lynk gave me a job, food, safety, and the first bed I'd ever slept in that didn't live above wheels. His wife, Kilah, gave me kindness, warmth, and an education I was never supposed to have. My father taught me rules that controlled me. Lynk taught me rules that protected me. The longer I stayed with them, the more I wanted to believe I could keep that life. A home. A family. A place where I'm more than just a tool to my father. But wanting it only made me more terrified of losing it when they learned the truth about me and my father. Then Dad came back. And he doesn't just threaten to take me away. He threatens to break everything Lynk and Kilah taught me how to build. I thought I was the one hiding the worst secrets. I had no idea my father had buried bigger ones.

For years, Kaden and West have survived on their own. No safety net. No home. No family to fall back on. Only the constant fight for money, shelter, and the right to exist. They were torn away once-lost in the chaos of a night no one talks about. Now, fate is pulling them back to the family they were never meant to find again. But broken pieces don't always fit back together the way they once did. Reunion promises hope, healing, and the chance to finally belong. Yet old wounds run deep, and the brothers they return to are no longer the boys they remember. Trust is fragile. Loyalty is tested. And forgiveness comes at a cost. Because while the family struggles to rebuild, something dark is watching. Waiting. Kaden and West's return has awakened an enemy who would rather see the family shattered than whole. Is a happy reunion even possible after everything that was lost? Or will the brothers be forced to face a new trial-one that could destroy them all? Some pieces were never meant to come back. And some truths are more dangerous than being broken.

Graham Coleman has never been invisible. Everyone knows his name at school, on the field, in every room he walks into. They just never really see him. Raised in a house where attention only comes when something goes wrong, Graham learned early that it's easier to act like he doesn't care than admit no one ever cared first. Neglected, controlled, and always on the outside looking in, he's spent his whole life surviving alone. Everything changes when his father is arrested for fraud, leaving Graham with nowhere to go. With no one else willing to take him in, the call goes to the only family he has left, the older half-brother he's never met. Rhys Coleman wants nothing to do with his father's new family, or the spoiled kid he assumes Graham must be. But with emancipation only three months away, he agrees to let Graham stay... temporarily. Rhys doesn't want him. Graham doesn't know how to be wanted. What starts as an obligation turns into something neither of them expected, as two brothers with completely different lives realize they never knew the truth about each other. But some damage runs deep, and some people learn to be alone so well they don't know how to stop. A story about being seen but never known, about family that comes too late, and about whether love can fix what was broken long before anyone noticed.

COMPLETED (BOOK 5) *Also a stand-alone book!* Jacob had been shy his entire life. He was reserved, had an introverted soul, and struggled to communicate with even those closest to him. Jacob had a deep secret, which made him feel alone and scared, and he considered giving up his battle, until his secret wasn't as private as he once thought. In this twisting story full of mind tugging plots and surprising turns, life as Jacob knew it would all change because of one single stranger. "I want him so bad," Hunter grumbled and longingly stared at his mate from across the room. "Just relax Alpha," his friend whispered so nobody could hear. "He can't know yet." "I know." Hunter's feelings were growing stronger with each passing day for his fellow classmate, Jacob Jones.
