Feeling the fear coursing through his body, Alastor began to back up from her, getting ready to retreat into the shadows. Before he could, her eyes began to glow as a soft melody built in her throat. As soon as it hits his ears, he can feel his nerves beginning to fry. Typically, her siren call had no effect on him, but with all the emotional turmoil he had been through, his resolve was weakening with more ease than it ever had before. She stalked him like the prey he was - a perfect sailor in her hold.
