Harry has to heal his injuries from an apparent suicide attempt, but soon he realizes that it's deeper than that. Draco is fresh out of Azkaban and Harry knows that the guards must have viciously tortured him, but Draco isn't talking. He's set up to stay in the Mental Health ward permanently if Harry doesn't heal him physically and mentally. At the same time, Harry isn't the righteous force of anger and courage that he once was. He quit the Aurors and suffers from extreme social anxiety, panic attacks and PTSD attacks, though it's not from war. Harry has to deal with his problems, too, but maybe not alone anymore. Trigger warning - there are discussions about sexual assaults, associated terminology and abuse. There are many panic attacks and some sleeping, eating and drinking disorders. This is a story of recovery from severe emotional distress.

Draco Malfoy has lost everything. His father is gone, his mother in exile and he was stripped of his wand, his vaults and rights as a wizard. After a year of living on the street, he works at a late-night pub for cash. He closes for the night, but as he leaves, a wizard corners him in the alley as he had recognized him. Draco, wandless and defenseless, couldn't defend himself against a wizard, who wants to do more than hurt him. Who comes to save Draco, but the Savior, himself. Auror Harry Potter and his partner Ron deal with the attacker, but Harry is determined to take Draco home. Little does he know that Draco doesn't have one.
