"I hate you." "Are you sure? I don't think I got a fair chance." "I am." "Are you very sure?" "Has anyone ever told you that you're full of yourself?" "No." "Well, they should." ·̩̩̥͙**•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚*•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚*·̩̩̥͙ Her definition of perfect was quiet and dull. He was anything but. Theo Parker was full of life; smiles always lighting his face and a camera on him, ready to snap a photo at any given moment along with almost living at the basketball court. Smiling at anyone who looked his way. She wanted to hate him, but she couldn't find it in her to do so. He defined perfection as impossible. Until he met her. He was aware of the glares and harsh words she sent his way, but under what seemed like not so subtle hatred she was smart and caring. Camilla Moretti didn't need anyone's approval or cared about their opinions. She didn't need anyone, and he admired that. "If you don't mind, i'm going to go sleep." He says, taking off his shirt. I widen my eyes and quickly cover them. "What the fuck do you think you're doing." "Taking off my shirt?" He tries to hide his smirk, tilting his head and looking at me innocently. "I can see that, you knucklehead." I roll my eyes. "Why are you taking it off?" "I sleep shirtless." He shrugs and flops onto the bed. "Could you not sleep shirtless for one night?" My eyes narrow, looking at him boringly. "No." I roll my eyes and put my hands away from my eyes, looking straight to his eyes without trying to look at his toned 6 pa- i mean without looking at his body. He smirks. "I knew you would wanna see me shirtless." I'm going to electrocute him one day. "Just shut up for once, will you?" I groan. "Make me." - Alara Belle Whitlock and Keldan Gray Mendes, two sworn enemies who have always hated each other. To her luck, the first step to moving on starts ten years in the past, when she has to go to her ten year high school reunion. Luca Brince is content with his teaching job as psychology professor, and meaningless one night stands. After seeing his parents marriage fall apart, he doesn't think there's any point to it. Yet he can't seem to shake his friends and family off his back to settle down. She said she'd never go back to the man who broke her heart ten years ago, but when they get locked in the janitors closet together at their 10 year high school reunion, they strike up a deal. She wanted a fresh start, but is her fresh start with her ex high school sweetheart? Quote from the book: "He looked nothing short of beautiful, his features sharp and strong-willed, but when he broke out into a grin his features softened into feminine beauty. Two completely opposite sides of a sword, yet both struck me somewhere in the same place that hadn't forgotten about him all these years." ***still undergoing edits!!!*** ***trigger warning: domestic violence, strong language, sexual contents***

Cal Jackson's new life as a rockstar fails to account for one thing: the existence of the girl he loves. ***** "What are you thinking about?" she asks. "A song," I say. "A new song." I stare at the ocean as I sing the song that I wrote, something that comes from the darkest place of my heart. "Do you even know how gifted you are?" she whispers. "You're destined to be someone big, Cal." "Really?" "Yeah." ***** She's perfect in every way. Beautiful. Smart. Her bright future is right there in front of her eyes. While here I am. Ruined. No college, let alone a future. Just an image of a wannabe rockstar with tattoed arms and an old guitar. I knew that our story would be no less than that tragic Romeo and Juliet shit the moment I laid my eyes on her, but still, I can't resist her. The moment she whispers my name, "Cal," I lose all sanity. She becomes my melody, my lyrics, the song that keeps echoing in my ears. People call her Mia. I call her my Amy, her name crafted above my beating heart, tattoed on my skin. Amelia Davis is my girl. Mine. And only mine. ***** THE JACKSONS BOOK #1 © 2021 Anya Jayvyn. All Rights Reserved. Carly Atwood always remembered the man that used to live in the loft above the barn when she was a little girl. John was her childhood crush, he was the guy she wrote about in her diary, and when he left her in his army greens, he was the first man she ever cried for. Nine years later, Carly isn't the eleven year-old girl John left behind. She grew up and moved on with her life, taking over the Atwood Ranch following her father's death. John isn't the man he used to be either; physically and emotionally scarred following his last deployment in Afghanistan, John is returning to the only place he ever called home, back to the loft above the barn and to the pretty blonde girl that's been holding onto his dog tags for all these years. ----- Title inspired by the song of the same name by Tim McGraw.

"Confidence is just foreplay for disaster," my therapist once said-right before I demonstrated the theory IRL." Nothing screams "I have my life together" quite like a broken heel, face-planting into a man so ridiculously handsome he might literally warp gravity, and my ego left somewhere back on the sidewalk-probably crying into a half-eaten croissant. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Skylar Evans-fresh grad, coding wizard, and caffeine-fueled chaos agent-didn't plan to crash (literally) into Carlos Dartagnan's meticulously dangerous world. But one awkward collision sets off a chain reaction of office sparks, corporate secrets, and eyebrow-raising chemistry that no amount of coffee can debug. Between cryptic codes, shady boardroom maneuvers, and a man who looks at her like she's both the ultimate mistake and the ultimate jackpot, Skylar is about to discover that life's biggest upgrades? They come with zero instructions, a lot of sass, and way too much falling over.
