But she is proven wrong when her childhood friends arrive at the manor, and the youngest stumbles through a wardrobe in the spare room. Isabell soon finds out that the professor's stories were more than made up fantasies to help her sleep. And she in the Pevensies find more than they had hoped to in Narnia. Isabell learns more about herself and the blood that runs through her veins. Their lives will never be the same after entering the wardrobe. It's been a year since Isabell and the Pevensies returned to England. And nearly a year since the Pevensies left the manor. For a year, Isabell has been alone in the manor, writing to her friends. A new ally is presented to them, the heir to the throne of Telmar. Only he's not fighting for Telmar, he's fighting for the Narnians, to give them back what his ancestors stole from them.
