Their families have been insufferable ever since, as they lived in the same neighborhood. As Darrell enters his college freshman year, he doesn't have any choice but to let Rowan's ray of sunshine dim him, as Rowan, in his junior year, got asked by his mom to be Darrell's guide on the campus for this new chapter of his life far away from their hometown.
