Word Count: 8950 Four months after the devastating events of the invasion of New York, Loki returns to Midgard stating that he was sent to repent for his crimes by helping fight the Avengers' wars. They are sceptical at first, but eventually agree to take him in for as long as Asgard deems it necessary. However, they soon start to realise that something seems off about their new teammate. Why is he suddenly so docile and quiet? Stuff gets uncovered and things go south like they always do when there's a chance for them to. It appears Loki isn't and was never the man they made him out to be. But can the God of Lies be believed? This is probably one of my favourite stories so far. Loki escaped Thanos after being tortured by him , but he found himself in the same place he attacked before. Midgard.

Takes place between many of the Marvel movies that contain Thor and Loki. The first chapter is after the first Thor movie, leading up to the first Avengers movie. So on and so forth. What would happen if Loki didn't go along with Thanos' plan? What if the very Mindstone that was in Loki's scepter was also used on him? What if Thanos broke him and then put him back together as he pleased? Also, what if Thor and Loki had a deeper connection? What if they were linked in a way? What if they cared for each other but didn't know how to tell the other?

After Thanos snaps half of the universe out of existence, Tony is grieving but his brain still won't stop asking questions. Like why on Earth did Loki leave Thor a stone covered in runes that looks suspiciously like a puzzle? He soon finds out that inside that little puzzle, the God of Lies left behind the truth.
