"The time turner is broken," Theodore confessed. Draco and Hermione stopped their bickering in the hallway of the Nott manor long enough to look at Theodore. The dark haired boy took in his two best friends, Draco looked like he was going to vomit and Hermione looked like she was going to break something. - A story in which Theodore Nott can't help but mess with a time turner, except this time it breaks and now he and his two best friends are forced to return back to Hogwarts until they can figure out how to return to their home, twenty seven years in the future.

After Harry loses the battle against Voldemort and is presumed dead, all those that fought against Voldemort is captured and sent to Azkaban. A hellish year passes and Voldemort calls a gathering which includes the prisoners and proceeds to announce that there would now be a marriage law due to the loss of life and their near depleted magic, Voldemort reveals that in order to renew and get new magic they must start producing the next generation, the real outrage occurs when Voldemort reveals that they will have to use the younger prisoners, which means that the next generation won't be fully pure. Hermione Jean Granger has been through a lot in the year since The Battle Of Hogwarts but she can't help but think that the Marriage Law is one of the worst things to come to pass, her hatred grows even more when she is auctioned off and brought by Theodore Nott's father to be his son's bride. Hermione soon learns that she will be living among her former bullies and current enemies, including Draco Lucius Malfoy who has hated her since the moment he knew her Blood Status. Hermione knows that her life will never be the same and that her life isn't really her own any more, what she doesn't know is that she'll experience something she never thought she would in this new life; Love.
