A história se passa durante o período posterior à guerra final. Asta e Noelle estão distantes agora, culpade Noelle. Uma missão surgiu e ela aproveitou a oportunidade, preferindo fugir a enfrentar seus medos, deixando Asta com um gosto amargo na boca. Ele nem havia notado que ela não estava mais lá. An orphan boy Asta with love for hockey, dreams of becoming a pro hockey player, similarly to his childhood friend and rival Yuno. Finally a chance has appeared for the boys to test their skills at try outs. Noelle is a black sheep of the Silva family, who pride themselves in being a few of the best figure skaters in the world. Noelle fails at each competition she enters and is pushed away by her siblings because of that.
