Zach Krycek is determined to break away from the family curse that will bind him to the service of DEATH for 100 years, starting when he's eighteen. But his destiny calls early as a viral plague breaks out, forcing him and his best friend into the understaffed Agency's accelerated training program. Except it's hardly a program when there's no deft hand scripting it, and nothing but increasing chaos as a new enemy rises up and steals the gods' magical toys, hoping to use them to end DEATH - even if it will also mean the end of the human race.

***FRIGHT FEST 2016 GOLD WINNER*** "There are two kinds of people who sit around thinking about how to kill other people: psychopaths and mystery writers." -Richard Castle "Don't make promises you can't keep, Mr. Parker." "Yeah, but those are the best kind." -"The Amazing Spider-Man" (2012) Heaven and Hell aren't above or below Earth. If you want to find them, you should be looking sideways. Teenage angel Alex Snow has a very weird life - his twin brother Gabe is a demon, he has few friends, he doesn't get out much, his tastes in pop culture are quirky at best...and one of his classmates has just been horribly murdered. Soon, more dead bodies start to pop up in town, and Alex and Gabe discover that the killer is someone to whom they are inextricably connected, despite having never met. (First in the Red Rain Series. Homosexuality. It was a word Shelton Morris was taught to hate and fear. They, in his opinion, should be locked up and kept away from society like the rest of the mentally ill people. He never knew he'd cross paths while trying to write a story with a man by the name of Timothy Harrison, a young homosexual kept in one of these so called institutions. Secrets start to twist and unravel before the writer, causing his fictional horror story to bloom into an informative tragedy as he explores the truth and terror of what went on when society casted a blind eye on the unwanted.

Prohibition hangs over New York like a nauseating smog. Most partygoers escape its presence by getting lost in speakeasies set up around corners of the streets, in basements, attics, etcetera. The more desperate—young or old, rich or poor—flock to the speakeasies run by demons. Their liquor holds more than just alcohol, it contains a dangerous power that causes the drinker to become lost within their own mind, living out their fantasies—if only for the night. Robert Hermann is part of a group of men that are supposed to bust these demonic "Dreamwhisps". However, after a fatal incident, he finds himself working for one of them. Now he must obey every order, every job that the powerful and charming Mr. Russell gives him. Failure to do so could lead him on a train to Hell; both physically and mentally.

It was bound to happen. When the tribes in the South conglomerated into the Southern Union, they thought that they could rewrite their past. They thought that their Unification could bring about a new age – an age of new intellectual thought where primitive heathen concepts would be squashed underfoot and peace and equality would reign. It has been ten years since the Unification. And the South has returned from a democratic state to a vicious monarchy where only the most ancient laws of the land are being followed; death to those that oppose the King. But this is not a story of the South. This is a story about the Midlands, gateway to the wild Northern reaches, where traditions are still crucial to survival. Where every day is a struggle and only the strongest can survive. This is the story of the rebellion of the Midland Woods under the command of the Canium, leader of the most primitive, brutal, and wild clan on the continent. THIS IS NOT A WEREWOLF STORY IN ANY WAY, SHAPE, OR FORM. [Any suggestions for editing would be greatly appreciated! I will get around to them eventually. I promise.] Special thanks to the amazing badacid_ for the lovely cover.

Agnes Showman is not your typical teen. She is not hated nor well-liked; she is not excluded yet not included. This is the result of her strangely quirky interests. When she is thrown back in time to 11th century Scotland, Agnes wonders if her peculiarities have gone a little too far. She is sent the Dunbroch Castle, where the King and Queen of Four Clans Kingdom rule. Though they believe her story is insane, and convinced she is not a spy of the Vikings, King Fergus and Queen Elinor welcome her into their home. Agnes quickly becomes best friends with Princess Merida and a favorite of the triplet Princes. Agnes is beginning to enjoy her adventure, despite wondering if she will ever return to Google and electricity, when Merida is transported to another era. Possibly to the 21st century. Now, Agnes must find the Witch that enchanted the boulder that transported her to Scotland in the first place in order to retrieve Merida-- or risk losing the people and country she has come to love. With the help of a wandering clan, Agnes goes on a journey she never thought she'd blaze. She'll have to kill people in order to live, she will have to do things she never even thought were possible to do and she will have to believe in magic that she thought only lived in books. When her journey comes to an end, Agnes finds she must choose between the life she has come to love and the life that is safer and much more familiar.
