I could see the hurt cross his face, and for a second I felt bad, but that second was over quickly. He wouldn't take me. I was furious. I wouldn't forgive him, ever.

After her mom left when she was seven, Madeline worked even harder to get ready for the 2012 Olympics. Training for hours a day, she never lost focus on the prize; the gold medal. When Madeline moves out after graduating high school, she moves three times before settling down in London. She carried on her training schedule while keeping up with a job at the local gym. After meeting her new neighbor, Louis Tomlinson, Madeline starts losing focus on the main goal.
