Sonic, Shadow and Silver are brothers, when their parents died in a house fire ten years ago, they were never the same Silver tries his best to keep his family together, but it's hard, his younger and older brothers are always arguing Shadow blames what happened to their parents on his youngest brother, but he know he shouldn't Sonic is quite and distant from his brothers, and is pushed around at school, he would of told his brothers his problems, but he doubts they'll care, let a lone listen But things get to the breaking point, when Shadow says something he shouldn't of and now they both might lose their youngest brother forever

A tragedy in an alternate timeline has lead Sonic and Shadow to travel back in time at the expense of having to never met. Far from how the usual reality could've portrayed it, a reality where Dr. Eggman has stopped his evil schemes and the need for heroes is no longer necessary came into fruition. While the new beginning seemed utopian for humanity, a loophole from the former sacrifice has yet to reveal itself as the chaos they once harnessed continues to grow within themselves. --- "So Long Goodnight Book II" - new readers need not to read Book I in order to understand the story of "Defiance (SLG Book II)." --- All canon characters belong to SEGA. He made it however he wanted. But one day the Simulation takes control and shows his real self. Hospital bed. heart rate beating on a screen. And a blue hedgehog checking in on him everyday. He always listened to him talk. but he could never reply. He wanted to meet him. No. Needed to meet him in reality. He needs to break free of this Simulation.
