The pauna was seen as a bloodthirsty mutated gorilla to the grounders. But none of them ever looked closer. If they did, they would have seen that she only attacked those who invaded on her land or tried to attack - a telltale sign that she was protecting something. But what? Phoebe was from Area 51. Known as 13, she was the only super soldier to be produced out of 15 subjects. No others survived without consequences. Allowed a comfort animal, she just happened to develop a special relationship with a certain gorilla. But then the fire nation attacked. Or you know, the missiles.

97 years ago, the world was bathed in flames. While some survivors took to space to avoid the destruction, some stayed and evolved. They became something greater, something far more feral than their predecessors, all to survive the new harsh environment that had formed on earth. While the old society was already separated by their secondary canine-inspired sex, the new and evolved society came to embrace their canine side even further, taking the shape of the mythological old world creature known as the wolf. This however was only an ability gained by the strongest members of the new society, as a way to protect their people, and especially their mates, from the cruel reality of their new post-apocalyptic world. In space the leaders of the last humans from earth, had decided that the secondary sex that everyone had from birth had grown redundant, and would only lower the survival chances of their people. So to suppress the undesired trait, every child were to be given an implant that would prevent their secondary sex from ever presenting. As such the humans in space lived to forget about their true nature, as each generation was left in the dark about the purpose of the original implants, and the dormancy of the trait became hereditary. But was the genes ever truly gone, or simply hidden waiting for a reason to manifest themselves again? What will 100 delinquents do when they arrive back on earth, only to be exposed to something long forgotten? Something that might cause more problems, than any potential radiation ever could? This will be a poly fic, with a focus on the relationship of my G!P OC, Octavia, Clarke and Raven. It won't be a harem fic, since they'll all end up being romantically involved with one another down the line. Think of it as a family dynamic, with them forming their own little 'pack' if you will.
