The whole train rocked again-this time more violently. A man standing near the aisle stumbled hard. His arms pinwheeled. He was falling-straight toward Jisoo. It all happened too fast. She braced, her arms up-but before the man could crash into her, a hand gripped her wrist and yanked her sideways. "Got you," Taehyung said. Jisoo stumbled against his chest. The man thudded into the empty seat beside hers instead, cursing as he hit the floor. The train jolted again. Taehyung didn't let go. He pulled her down beside him, tucking her between himself and the wall of the carriage, shielding her from the chaos. Another tremor rolled through, making the train creak like a dying machine. More people fell. Someone up front shouted in panic. A bottle rolled down the aisle, clinking uselessly.
