When Master Wu assigns Jay a new mission - one meant for him alone - he begins to trace the source of his inner unrest. Along the way, he is forced to face memories that are far from pleasant. And as Jay struggles with what he uncovers, his brothers and the love of his life start to notice that something is wrong. They want to help. But Jay is not sure if he is ready for anyone to see what he has been carrying all this time. This story takes place after Crystalized and revisits events from previous missions.

Now the reincarnation of the queen has just arrived at his undead door step but it's not going to be as easy to have him back again. Can the ninja protect one of their own from a undead ex? Or will they be taken back to forever ago.

This book has the classic story of Cinderella but with Ninjago characters and closely followed plot. When Jay's mother dies he is forced to give everything up for his step siblings and obey his step fathers , Nadakhan, will.
