Not Another Were Story, Rejection Series In the third and final story in the rejection shifter series, Faith is a hybrid. She shifted early and only her mother knows for fear of what others would think or do to her. On her 18th birthday, she is scented out as the mate of the Head Warrior of her pack. He rejects her for being "wolfless." The higher ranks in the pack encourage and support the rejection as the pack considers humans and wolfless "undesirables." The pack is one of the few that encourages chosen mates over fated mates. For her safety, Faith leaves the pack. On her journey, Faith comes across other wolf shifters (and a human?) who her special wolf insists are important to the future of shifters of all kinds. As they travel to the infamous Alpha of the North's territory to further determine the upcoming threat in an attempt to gain more alliances, Faith comes across her second chance mate: The Alpha of the North. He initially resists the bond, thinking a wolfless mate could not be helpful to him in a time of war. But he soon realizes, he needs his mate as much as she needs him to overcome the threat.

Isabelle was a club girl. Not a name, not a voice--just a body people passed over without a second glance. But not Ryder. Something in him pulled her in, made her forget why she joined the Wardens of Sin MC in the first place. Made her forget she came here with a plan: get paid, get out, finish nursing school. Until Ryder reminded her exactly what she was in his world. She bent. But she didn't break. Now, she has no distractions. No man to crave. No heartbreak to nurse. Just herself--and the future she's resuming. Ryder never meant to fall for the girl everyone could touch. But he did. Hard. And when he was reminded that she'd only ever be a club girl--that hope was a luxury he couldn't afford--he destroyed what they had. Humiliated her. Left her behind like the wreck he saw in himself. But the truth never stays buried. And by the time it comes out, it might be too late.

And when his enemies came for me? He wasn't there to protect me because he was busy protecting her. And that I don't know how to forgive. Now I'm building a new life for myself without Roman. He promises he will give up everything to win me back, but promises are cheap and his aren't worth much. When we discover our enemies are still alive and planning to strike out again, however, I might not have any choice but to put my life in the hands of the man who's already let me down once.
