Billy survived the mindflayer attack, and everything goes back to 'normal' when Steve finds out about Billy's home situation.

This is one of my favorite AO3 stories. This story is amazing and I am giving all the credit to the writers of the story. Brawls (Brawlite) and ToAStranger After the end of the world, Billy Hargrove is a mess. But at least he has company.

I wanted these two to interact so badly, so I decided to write a fic where they found each other in the Upside Down. This was meant to be a one-shot, but I couldn't stop writing, so multi-chaptered Mungrove for you all. I know it's not Steddie, but I hope you all enjoy anyway.

Together they try to work through it, to work through Billy's other issues. But Billy's never been very good at being weak, though that may be what it takes to get him through this. I've skewed the Timeline to make this work the way I wanted it to. So, Billy, Eddie, Steve, Max, and Lucas are all in High School at the same time in the Spring of 1986.
