Humanity is now facing extinction with their last millions while the Anthro civilization is over 2 Billion strong and counting. The war between Humans and Anthros has lasted for over 50 years, and while humans may be disadvantaged against the Anthros higher strength, speed, endurance, and intelligence, they still beat Anthros with improvisation, adaptability, and tactics. The war has destroyed all four Eastern continents, leaving behind a creature both Humans and Anthros call Reapers, who are husks of the person they were. The Anthros have near complete control over North America and are fighting Humanity in South America, but the main human bases are located on the Hawaiian islands. With death seeming inevitable for human kind, can nothing stop humanity from extinction? Zero has just graduated from high school with good marks and a scholarship. His family wanted to celebrate, so they said they would wait for him. He went back to grab his wallet, and as he turned around, he started falling in a wormhole, closing afterwards. Give shoutout to REVENANT_B328 for giving me the story idea. In this What If, the Girls found out about Chris's secret and proceeded to torture him for intel and such but after telling them everything he knows, they refuse to believe him. They told everyone at base this secret and everyone wanted his blood. He tries to withstand everything from the U.F. and his former friends but after being forced to watch Amber and Lara doing each it, he eventually snaps and leaves to hunt python and the F.I.A. by himself changing into one cold S.O.B or fully embracing his Cerberus identity due to them breaking him. After, say, 2 years, he runs into Alpha Team again, and they are mortified by the man he has become. He begrudgingly forgives them and takes down Python together, but after he kills him, he walks away from the group towards a bar/beach, sits down, and takes off his kit, revealing the damage they have done to him. Emotional breaking some in the U.F.
