Everyone who works within the New York Warriors organization knows that star player August Fletcher refuses to talk to most people...and especially team reporters. All except Quinn Castle, that is. Quinn doesn't know why the broody football player has singled her out, but she knows she doesn't like it-not when being around him and his hot gazes makes her feel like she might accidentally do something that risks her career. So when August unexpectedly retires, Quinn can't help but feel relieved...until she finds herself with a new assignment: spend the summer in August's hometown on Evergreen Isle and write a flashy retirement piece on the Warrior's biggest star. It would be easy enough...if it weren't for the team's secret agenda: convince August to return to New York. It would be easy enough...if it weren't her job on the line if she doesn't see it through. It would be easy enough...if it weren't for the heat in August Fletcher's eyes.

After the aftermath of a not-so-great one night stand, everything turns around for Andrea and Miles. Andrea Brennan has gone through the entirety of her college career without any trouble and she goes to a party school which is saying something. Andrea is at school on multiple scholorships and her dad is paying for the rest. Growing up, education was the most important to her and so she has spent all her life being perfect. It's been easy for the most part but now-- now Andrea has got herself mixed up with the biggest player (on and off the ice), Miles Watson. Miles Watson is the star player University of Minnesota, Twin Cities and has been for the entirity of his college career. He was recruited right after highschool and has been working hard to keep the best image for himself. College hockey is pretty serious and nothing is more serious than trying to get on a professional team. Miles has been working toward his professional career for the longest time and getting involved with a girl has never been apart of that plan. Oh but it does happen. andrea and Miles have an one night stand and the next day is a different outcome for different parties. The two do not let the night gopeacefully and nsteatd work to make it hard for each other. With spiteful retorts and incredible banter, the two don't realize that they are connected in more than one way, but they will soon find out.

[MATURE] After a hate-filled one night stand, Evanna Hill is in shambles. With her perfect reputation and Rich parents' influence, she is shocked at what she has let herself indulge in. One night stands don't happen in Evanna's world. Even more so with the man who requires a scholarship to play ice hockey. Sloan Murphy is one of the top defensemen on his team and is known for his sarcastic mouth. Never one to take things too seriously, Evanna can't stand his laid back attitude. What Evanna doesn't know; is that Sloan is skating his hardest through college. The question is, can he get the puck into the goal, his dreams to become his future and maybe have a plot twist along the way?
