Alexander Hamilton, a young boy with many troubles in his life, is starting his first year of highschool. He's always been homeschooled but ever since his mother died and his new foster parents took him in, they've forced him to start highschool fresh in a public school called Westburn Highschool. After Alexander came out to his foster parents as gay, they haven't treated him well. Frankly, he hasn't had a good life ever since his mother died. But that all changes once he comes in contact with the one and only Bad Boy of the school, captain of the Westburn Football team, John Laurens.

Alexander was now living with the Washingtons, they had recently adopted him a few months ago. Lafayette was like Alex's brother, he was also adopted by the Washington family. For once in his life, he was happy. Lafayette introduced him to his friend group and ended up joining the "Revolutionary Crew" or that's what they like to call themselves. He has a family that loves him, good grades, good friends. Everything was perfect. Except one thing. He never told them that his name is Alexander, not Alexandra.

Alexander Hamilton has not had an easy life. After his parents died, he bounced from foster home to foster home in Nevis, each one giving up on him and claiming that he was "too difficult to deal with." After being thrown out of his seventh foster home, he gets adopted by an American couple named George and Martha Washington. George and Martha are incredibly kind and willing to do anything for Alex, but Alex finds it difficult to trust them. He worries that they will become angry with him and throw him out the way the rest of his foster parents did. He finds himself growing more and more depressed and angry, and nothing the Washingtons do can make him feel better. Alex finds himself desparate for acceptance, and ends up in a tumultuous friendship with none other than John Laurens, a gay boy rebelling against his homophobic parents. Will the Washingtons give up on Alex, or will Alex finally learn to trust again.

Everyone in this universe is given a timer when they are born. This timer counts down the years, months, days, hours, minutes, and seconds until you become face to face with your soulmate.
