At work one night, he and his mythology book are interrupted by someone actually coming into the shop. Who could need a coffee at midnight? Midnight Coffee shares its storyline with my book Coffee at Midnight, these are written to play with different perspectives in storytelling. Midnight Coffee was written first, is told strictly from Nico's perspective, and has a cast of Percy Jackson characters. Coffee at Midnight is told strictly from Will's perspective, has a cast of Magnus Chase characters, and includes bonus scenes between the two. These stories are set in a world with no gods or demigods. Will and Nico were both born in the mid-90s (this story is set in 2015). These are fanfiction based on the Percy Jackson franchise. Nico di Angelo, Prince of Malavita, has known his whole life he was going to have to marry the Princess of Caray. For most of his childhood, she was just a distant fact. He was going to marry her and that was that. The Prince, however, becomes uncomfortable with the idea as he gets older and realizes he isn't into women at all. When it is announced that the Princess and her Father are coming to Malavita, Nico's not so distant future crashes in on him and he finally realizes he's getting married. To a woman of all people. Should he go along with it and live his life in a loveless marriage or should he resist and marry the man of his dreams?

nico's a demon, will's an angel, and they fall in love during a war. what could possibly go wrong? intentional lowercase for the description; the actual fic has proper capitalization. the writing is pretty bad and the plot is all over the place but it's cutesy sometimes so knock yourselves out. if swearing bothers you, skip the author's notes because i swear sometimes. the actual fic has no strong language.

Sure, it was partially Nico's fault that he stayed overtime, but couldn't Will just give up on him already? He's weak, sick, and most of all, frustrated. And he wants to change out of this stupid tropical shirt. But will Will let him? No, he just has to stay put for the next third of his life! How unfair is that? Eventually, Nico realizes that, just maybe, Will isn't as annoying as he thought. Could their friendship develop beyond just friends?
