He was no poet that is a fact. He tried though; he made the effort to win me over every day of our two year relationship. One letter he wrote was “I love you more than my mother… don’t tell her I said that.” I laughed at this one all throughout the day. As all the memories of the letters rushed into my mind the tears began to fall in the corner of my lifeless eyes as I realized I would never again receive a letter so trivial and meaningful ever again.
