Rumors of your appearance started to speculate as you only just 2 years ago started living in Japan after moving from your home country of the United States by yourself, being provided for a place to live in Yongen-Jaya, Shibuya. However in your 2 years of living in Japan, you were unable to attend any school due to a serious medical condition and have fallen behind your years as a second year student who had just turned 18. Now Akira must find a way to cope with this new life in Hometown, while trying to juggle the return of the Metaverse, and Futaba tries to find her way through the complex feelings she has for Joker, but can't quite explain, as well as the dreams that almost feel like memories. I took a couple liberties with events and the Timeline, but overall, I stayed fairly close to the original game's story.
