What if lan wangji and wei wuxian left the cultivation world because everyone started to believe jin guangyao at the guanyin temple they were deceived. And Wei wuxian was blamed but lan wangji belived wuxian but then cultivation world hated them both BUT they were okay with it since they both had each other sides. After the event from the Guanyin Temple everyone believe that it was Wei Wuxian who try to kill Lan Wangji. Some people in black enter into the temple they said that Yiling Laozu order them to kill everyone in the temple. Lan Wangji jump in front of Wei Wuxian and got himself stabbed by one of the black man. Wei Wuxian got taken back to Cloud Recesse, he was torture and got kick out from the cultivation world. The person who he cherish the most, love the most, promise him to stand by his side didn't believe in him, he betray Wei Wuxian like how everyone else betray him. 20 year later the whole cultivation world got attack by corpse and puppet from all directions. They know it wasn't Wei Wuxian because he is gone no one know where he is at. Now they want to search for Wei Wuxian to help them.
