The second book to The King series **recommended to read sinful before** "A wonderful life, hopefully," I whispered, and he nodded. Lucas' hand found mine, and he held it with one hand. I glanced down at our intertwined fingers and then back up to see him already looking at me. "Dawn," He started, rubbing his thumb on the back of my hand, "I've been thinking a lot, a lot about us and..." His eyes turned a shade darker but it was still that same comforting green. "I know that our story had a rough beginning, middle and god lets hope not a bad end." I laughed and he smiled at me. "I just want to let you know, that I'm not like that person you met a year ago. Being with you has forced me to mature and really think about what I want with my life. And what I want with my life, is to be with you." A huge smile broke out on my face, its contagiousness causing a similar smile to break out on his face too. "So what do you say to starting a new chapter, fresh clean pages?" "I'd love that," I replied honestly.

MATURE BOOK! MEANING MATURE THEMES, TOPICS SUCH AS SA, S*ICIDE, ETC... If ur definition of mature was just smut this book doesn't have it-BUT BEFORE U RUN AWAY!! The second book of this series does! - THIS IS A WEREWOLF BOOK WHERE ARE YALL GETTING MAFIA FROM????? "No." I stated. "They don't exist." His emerald eyes pierced into my soul, they seemed to be dissecting me. He had his arms wrapped around my waist, each passing second his grip was getting tighter and tighter. He started to lean in, closing the gap between us. His eyes never hesitating from my lips. He inched closer and closer until I could feel his minty breath now fanning out on my face. He licked his lips before looking into my own eyes again, and with a smirk he swooped his head down. I prepared for the kiss but it never came, he came in and swiped his head to the side. Rubbing his cheek with my own, the soft stubble scratching my skin and sending shockwaves down my spine as he moved to my ear. "You claim you don't believe in soulmates but, you so clearly feel the pull." #1 in love 12/5/2018 #1 in human 12/28/2018 #1 in comedy 1/17/2019 #1 in young adult 4/8/2019 #1 in cold 4/16/2019
