It was yet another torturous day. Standing right in front of my door were 12 young Korean boys in their familiar unexplainable clothes, spotless white skin, colorful hair and black eyeliners. I looked at them and immediately sense that very distinct swag and confidence probably harnessed by a long period of desperate and outrageous adorations of crazy fan girls. Yes. I am currently and literally just 2 meters away from yet another batch of KPOP celebrities. And as a protocol for all guests of the private villa, I did my usual greetings. "Good day! My name is Lee Majesty, 23 years old, Korean-American born...and probably the number 1 hater of KPOP culture. Welcome... ...to your worst nightmare." - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - AUTHOR'S NOTE: CONTEXT: 1.The story happened in 2012 after a certain KPOP group EXO was launched. Back then, the group was still divided into two sub-groups, EXO-k (Korean) and EXO-m (Mandarin). 2. The story will basically revolve around how EXO became "ONE" and turned into a supernova of celebrities. 3. This is not a typical romantic fan fiction. I consider it more like a historical fan-fiction as this will also incorporate the series of important events that made the group rose to a striking popularity. ^___^ *** My first fan fiction. It is loosely based on actual facts and events about the Korean Male Group EXO and some other famous KPOP personalities (you can confirm some of the data yourself ^_^)... ...except of course for the main character who is completely and irrevocably imaginary. But here is where she'll meet people who will turn the discrete life she was trying to protect upside down: a party fox best friend whom she always try to keep away from trouble, an egotistic heir who gets on her nerves, a two-faced rock band celebrity, and a coldhearted hotel inheritor who seems to hate her but ironically remind her of the first man she had ever loved. Is she going to remain just an ordinary face until she graduate just like what she promised herself or will the twists in her past and the complications of her present transform her into something more--something which will ultimately unveil what the academy is truly for.
