Park Chorong and Lee Changsub have been best friends since kindergarten. They became inseparable until one day, Chorong suddenly started to distance herself from him. Changsub, convinced that he wronged her in some unforgivable way, makes it his goal to restore their rare and precious friendship. They thought they had known everything about each other. They thought secrets didn't exist between them. But everyone has a secret. Changsub has never been the type to give up and two years later, he's managed to wriggle his way back into his old spot next to Chorong as her best friend, but there seems to be something different about their friendship now, a line separating them that cannot be broken. After two years of desperate attempts to create a space that cannot be crossed between them, Chorong finally convinces herself that everything will be back to normal and they can live as best friends again, but it's easier said than done when her cruel reality constantly grabs her at the ankles and she soon accepts, things will never be how they used to be between them ever again. When living in a world full of constant supernatural danger, it's safer to distance yourself from those you love.
