Surayya Galadima isn't just a name: it's a statement. The woman everyone watches but never truly knows. A vision of sophistication and perfectionist in every sense of the word. Everything about her is deliberate, not forced, just naturally refined. She owns every room she steps into exuding an effortless confidence that makes her the girl everyone either wants to be or wants to have. And if you claim neither, you're lying, or just jealous. Surayya has mastered the art of keeping the world at arm's length while still keeping them hooked. Just enough glimpses to keep people watching. Never personal, never too much. People call her cold and some call her snobbish. But that's because only a few people get to see past her walls. Those who assume they know her? They only know the version she chooses to show. Tareeq Maiyaki isn't just royalty: he is the silent storm, power in its most dangerous form with his destiny written long before he could even walk. A man of few words, but when he speaks, everyone listens. He doesn't need to demand attention, he simply exists and the world adjust. Maybe it comes with the royal lineage or just raw commanding energy. If there's one thing in his ever so calculated life that refuses to bend to his will, it's Surayya Galadima. The one name he name he never speaks, the one thought he never acknowledges, yet she's always there. The exception. The complication. >>> When life took them by surprise and got them tangled in the most unexpected situation, will their strong-headedness and ego win...or love, the most powerful emotion known to mankind?

"A marriage neither of them chose. A chemistry they can't ignore. And a fate neither of them can escape." "You're avoiding me." Yusra froze, fingers tightening around the silk scarf. She didn't turn. "I'm not." Fahad scoffed. "You barely look at me. You barely speak to me." "Maybe there's nothing to say." He stepped closer, his voice low. "You've been acting like I don't exist since the conveyance. If you have a problem, say it." Yusra turned, chin lifted. "Why would I? It's not like you care." His jaw tightened. "You think I don't?" "You don't act like it." Silence. Heavy, charged. Then, before she could move, his fingers brushed hers-a fleeting touch, but enough to send a jolt of heat through her. She inhaled sharply. "You think I don't care? Since when?" His voice was rough, edged with something dangerous. He leaned in, forcing her to look up. "Then tell me why you're shaking." She wasn't. At least, she didn't think she was. But now, with his touch lingering, she wasn't so sure. Fahad's gaze flickered to her parted lips before he pulled back, his restraint like a thread about to snap. "You don't want me to care, Yusra," he murmured. "Because if I do, neither of us will be able to stop what happens next." And just like that, he walked away-leaving her breathless, rattled, and desperate to understand why she suddenly wanted him to turn back.

"If it's you, you will find a girl who's much better than me. One who will be much more helpful to you. Of course, the company..." His eyes were shining clearly even in the smoke. "All I want is you." He gently swept the back of her hand with his fingertips. She tried to avoid his touch, but he grabbed her wrist and refused to let go. "I've spent a lot of time on this wedding. I took you to an important gathering of acquaintances, and I put a lot of effort into finding a wedding gift and a new house for newlyweds. You've wasted the time of both our families and mine." "So... what do you want me to do?" "Who knows. What should you do?" He inhaled the cigar deeply and exhaled a thick smoke again. As the smoke rolled in, clear tears formed around her eyes. He gently wiped the corners of her eyes. The moment he first met her, he muttered as he stared at her neat face, which made his heart stop. "If you don't like it that much, I can't help it either. We have no choice but to find an agreement." "An agreement...?" "There's something that needs to be gone, right?"

Jadelola Adebayo. She wasn't royalty. She wasn't billionaire-born. But she was brilliant with her hands, her designs slipping across Lagos society like silk - literally. She told herself it was only business. She told herself she would present the sketches, bow politely, and leave. But destiny has a way of rearranging careful plans. Because somewhere in the palace, descending from his own convoy with the slow arrogance of a man who had never been denied, was Prince Damilola Damien Adediran. And when his path collided with hers, Lagos itself seemed to pause. The city would remember their story. The blogs would feast on whispers of it. But in this moment, the world had no idea. All that existed was the dangerous pull between a woman who thought herself safe within marriage, and the Prince who had already chosen her - the one he would name Arike. She scowled, though her pulse betrayed her. "I told you before. I'm married. I don't belong to you." He stepped closer, closing the distance in unhurried strides until her back grazed the wall. His hand lifted, not touching, just hovering by her cheek. "Say it again, Arike. Louder this time. Maybe then I'll believe you." Her breath caught. "You're shameless." "Mm." His grin widened, vulgar and beautiful all at once. "Shameless enough to imagine what your lips taste like when you're angry. Shameless enough to want to hear you gasp my name the way you're gasping now." "Stop." Her palms pressed against his chest. Firm muscle beneath the fabric. Too warm. Too alive. He groaned, deep and rough, the sound vibrating under her touch. "Every time you touch me, Arike, you make it worse. Do you know that?" "I'm not-" she stammered, but he cut her off, voice dipping lower. "You think I don't see the way your pulse jumps when I look at you? The way you bite your lip when you're trying to hold back? Don't lie to me, ìfé mi. Your body betrays you
